Our Vision

Our church vision is to fulfill the mission set forth by Jesus Christ in the Great Commandment & Commission

as it relates to God’s direction in our particular church culture and community.

Greater Hope Church exists to create a place where people of all ages can

Know and Love God,

Love Others,

Discover their Purpose

and Make a Difference.

Everything we do at Greater Hope serves our vision of God's purpose. Every person who partners with us here at Greater Hope can catch our vision to know and love God, love others, discover God’s purpose for their lives, and make a difference in the lives, and world, around them.

Our Mission

Know & Love God

“You shall love the Lord your God with all your heart and all your soul and all your mind.

Matthew 22:37-38

Religion can get in the way of the simple truth that God wants to have a personal relationship with us. Every person can go from knowing “about” God to knowing God in a personal way. The relationship that God wants with us is one that is intimate and growing closer to Him.

Love Others

“And a second is like it: You shall love your neighbor as yourself.”

Matthew 22:39

Discover God's Purpose

“Many are the plans in a person’s heart, but it is the Lord’s purpose that prevails.”

Proverbs 19:21

There’s no greater satisfaction and fulfillment in life than knowing and living out God’s plan and purpose for your lives.

Make A difference

“Go therefore and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and the Son and of the Holy Spirit, teaching them to observe all that I have commanded you.” Matthew 28: 19-20

The great commission is God’s ultimate plan for each of our lives---to make a difference in the lives of others. Through Greater Hope, we are believing that every person will use their God-given gifts and talents to serve others in the church and our community.

It’s about having hope even when you are against all hope.

-“Against all hope, Abraham in hope believed.” Romans 4:18

-“As for me, I will always have hope; I will praise You more and more.” Psalm 71:14

It’s about our willingness to obey God and opening our heart to His wisdom and favor even when it is not easy.

    - “I will hurry, without delay, to obey your command.” Psalm 119:60

-“By faith Abraham obeyed.” Hebrews 11:8

-“If you love Me, keep My commandments.” John 14:15

It’s about showing mercy and forgiving one another, just as God in Christ also forgave you.

    (Ephesians 4:32)

    - “For God so loved the world that He GAVE His only begotten Son.” John 3:16

It’s about recognizing God as the source of every good thing---life, health, opportunity, talent, and blessing. (James 1:17)

-“Humble yourselves before God. Resist the devil, and he will flee from you.” James 4:7

It’s about giving out of the attitude of love rather than obligation.

-“Give, and it will be given to you. A good measure, pressed down, shaken together and running over, will be poured into your lap. For with the measure you use, it will be measured to you." Luke 6:38

It’s about having a heart towards those who are in trouble or need of help.

-“Thus says the Lord of hosts, execute true justice, show mercy and compassion everyone to his brother.” Zechariah 7:9

It's about seeing value in all people, no matter their behavior, race or background.

    - "Do nothing from rivalry or conceit, but in humility count others more significant than yourselves." Philippians 2:3
